stan-staffStanley Barnes is a dynamic marketing professional with extensive experience in sales, marketing, public relations, strategic planning and contract negotiations.  His expertise includes over 15 years’ experience with Fortune 500 companies, where he received numerous awards for achieving notable milestones, such as rebounding an underperforming division and identifying the right talent to restructure a sales and marketing division, resulting in regional sales in excess of $3.7 Million.  Stanley attended the University of Houston where he majored in Business Management.

While playing in the PROAM Basketball League, several teammates began to seek Stanley’s advice in obtaining player contracts in professional basketball leagues overseas. Using his business acumen in marketing, management and contract negotiations, Stanley was able to assist several players with landing professional contracts in the following leagues:

  • NFL (National Football League)
  • WNBA (Women’s National Basketball Association)
  • FIBA (Federal International Basketball Association)
  • Korean Basketball League
  • APBL (Australian Professional Basketball League)
  • NBDL (National Basketball Development League)

While in the Pacific Northwest, Barnes developed relationships with the Nike Corporation, resulting  product endorsements deals. He has worked with NBA All Star events and provided security and transportation services for NBA players; community sports and entertainment events; Adidas Pre-Game Camps; Bank of America (Seafirst Bank) Jamming Hoop Camps; Nate McMillan Camps. His company played a principal role in establishing the first Northwest Basketball Tournament, featuring former NBA player, Nate McMillan. In the entertainment field, he has worked with such artists as Marion Meadows, Nick Colionne, Najee, Norman Brown, Chante’ Moore and Jeff Lorber.

From this success, Stanley founded the sports and entertainment management company, Diverse Concepts World Wide. He continues to represent professional athletes and entertainers in contract negotiations and marketing endorsements on regional, national and international levels.

Most recently in community outreach, Stanley worked the Dwight D. Howard and Cheryl H. Howard Foundation 2nd Annual Holiday Hoopla event.

 With his drive for business, passion for sports and entertainment, and determination for success, Barnes continues to serve as a liaison for corporate and community partnerships that offer outreach programs are supported by professional athletes.
